Forest health and sustainability with the National Forest Foundation (NFF). 

Topics include:
– Who are the National Forest Foundation.
– What does sustainability look like for our forests.
– What projects are NFF/ US Forest service working on in Reno/ Tahoe/ Plumas.
– Recent development in forest sustainability.

Meet your trainer

Matthew Brown

Sn. Manager of Coffee Operations

Matthew has been working in the Coffee industry since 2002. During that time he found his passion in education and research, leading public coffee education campuses in Syndey Australia for over thirteen years. Much of the content of his classes came from the research conducted by Seven Miles Coffee Roasters for the Coffee Science and Education center, working under Chemical Engineer Dr. Adam Carr, Phd.

Matthew has been a certified trainer for the SCA Barista and Brewing classes, and is currently certified to teach Barista Hustle Classes.
